8老师，我父母2018年9月开始在国内申请绿卡，他们的中国护照2020年1月头就失效了。他们什么时候去renew中国护照比较好？假设今年9月他们能拿到绿卡，是在这之前还是之后去办换发护照？

-It does not matter. If his old passport expires after he gets the immigrant visa, he can use both the old passport and the new passport to enter US.
