8老师和各位大侠见笑了：请问公民面试有过一半一说吗？

姐姐（随姐夫拿了绿卡6年）公民面试很紧张觉得英语对话不好，问道TAX的问题因为太复杂也没答上来，而且公民面试信上没说要带TAX RETURNS她也没带（但USCIS网站说要带的）但英语读，写和历史政府公民知识答得很好。最后面试官说“Your test has passed, but communication ........(后面没听懂）we'll inform you ...around Nov 20" 然后什么东西也没给就让出来了，这倒是过了还是没过呀？ 姐姐糊里糊涂说是过了一半：历史公民知识过了但英语交流没过。我觉得八成是通过了但我姐觉得没过。请问有过了一半，下次考试考英语的另一半的说法吗？
