-They can apply for reentry permit (not advance parole) which allows them to stay in China for > one year < two years. They can leave US after they conduct the fingerprinting for reentry permit (not need to wait for the reentry permit approval to leave US). Then, you can bring the reentry permit to them to come back or mail it to them (but the risk is that it may be lost during mail).
