想请教有经验的朋友一个案例。我去年帮父亲办理绿卡。过程非常缓慢，他半年前申请了advance parole回中国了。移民局几个月前通知他需要到广州美领馆再办理移民签证来完成绿卡申请。

因为整个过程的周折，他现在不太想继续办理绿卡了。他原先持有十年多次往返的B2签证。如果现在放弃绿卡申请，那么原来的B2签证还有效吗？
-Yes if he gives up the green card application before the I-485 is approved.
当初申请绿卡就是因为害怕因为持有B2签证多次往返入境时被拒绝（最后两次入境时被询问的很仔细）。现在如果放弃绿卡申请，是不是因为有过移民申请史而更有移民倾向，容易被拒绝入境呢？
