我的情况是，以前和现在的两个program是不同的学校，都是本科级别的。专业名称不一样。在美国教育部网站相关一个网站(nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx)的Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP)中，我读的这两个program的code，小数点前的两位数字是一样的(code的格式是：xx.xxxx)，后四位不一样。

因为读的两个program确实有些接近，所以出现了现在读的这个program有一些课程名称(course title)跟以前的很像，但具体课程内容并不完全一样的情况。我尽量不去选择跟以前看起来很相似的课程，但是在选课时遇到了比如availability, prerequisite unmet, time conflict的情况，虽然学校开了不少课，但不得不去选择个别跟以前类似的课程才能达到国际生每学期的最少学分。

请问，如果我选了和以前相似的课，会不会在将来申请H1B、在大使馆申请签证、办理绿卡等遇到问题？比如说，认为我读新program是属于pay to stay等。他们如果真的对比我的两个成绩单，我不了解他们会不会给我一个解释的机会。谢谢8老师。
-You need to contact your school International Student office which issued you the I-20. You must meet the requirements for F-1 students in your school. If your school allows you to take extra courses from another school (it does not have to be in the same major) after you meet the course load requirement in your school, that will be fine.
