我父母已持绿卡3年了。现想为我在中国的未婚妹妹申请绿卡。 请问：

1。我的妹妹人在美国 时父母递交申请，和妹妹人在中国 时父母递交申请有什么不同吗？
-No difference. She cannot get married before she gets green card (it takes about 7 to 8 years) unless your parent (the sponsor) gets the US citizenship before she gets married.

2。如果我的妹妹人在美国 时父母递交申请，她能合法地留在美国，直到她拿到绿卡吗？
-She has to have a legal status (e.g. H-1, F-1) and keep this status until the priority date (about 7 years) is current to file I-485.
