想请教您几个I-131的问题。
我的母亲目前持有绿卡，因为身体的原因希望回国治疗一段时间再返美，所以想办理I-131 Re-Entry Permit. 我在填表的过程中发现几个问题不太清楚，希望得到8老师指点：
- 办理Re-Entry Permit 不需要再提供照片了， 对吗?-Need two photos. Read I-131 instructions.
- For the Purpose of Trip, 除了陈述因为身体的原因需要回国治疗之外，还需要附上医生的证明吗？比如检查结果等等。-Not need this kind of evidence. Just address the reasons in a separate piece of paper.
- 当时在等待绿卡的过程中，申请了Advance Parole, 返回美国入境时已经有绿卡了，不记得有I-551。这种情况下，如果提供绿卡和护照复印件再加上第一次持绿卡入境时盖章的复印件，可以吗？-I-551 means the green card (same thing).
- I-131的要求里面还提到， 如果要申请Re-entry permit, “must complete biometrics at a USCIS Application Support Center”. 我母亲已经八十多了，也需要填写吗？-Yes, no exception. The biometrics is for the reentry permit production only. 如果要，在哪里可以找到这份表格呢？-USCIS will send her an appointment notice for the biometrics, and then she just needs to go there to conduct the biometrics just like she did for here green card application before (i.e. fill the form and conduct the biometrics at ASC). She may request expedited process for biometrics appointment if it is urgent.
