请教8老师， 关于入籍和绿卡更新

请问8老师， 我的绿卡18年二月底到期了，现在考虑换成公民。

1。请问 我还有足够的时间换公民吗？还是我需要同时申请更新绿卡 ？我因为工作关系确实需要不定时出国。
2。 有没有可能extend 现在的绿卡同时等公民申请？
