8老师，前段时间求教过您回中国工作后，办白皮书的事宜。我过去两年大部分时间在中国。每半年回美一次。八月份丛中国回美国一周，递交了白皮书申请。
现在收到打指纹通知我9月7日到Indianapolis打指纹。但是我十月初才能去美国10天，并且是去东部城市。这种情况下，我如何有可能把我的打指纹日期和地点改到我能去的时间和日期呢？（打指纹通知是说我要把这个通知寄回去），但是好像没有办法要求特定的日期和地点。
-You can request reschedule on the appointment, but you cannot identify when your new appointment will be. USCIS will make the new appointment for you based on their procedure. As long as you have the appointment notice, you can conduct it in any USCIS ASC, not have to be the place indicated on the appointment notice.
另外一种可能，就是不把通知寄回去，直接和我去美国的地方的local office make appointment到十月初去打指纹。不知道这样可不可行。
-Probably your N-400 case may be denied when you come back at that time if you don't reschedule the apppointmnet.
