请教8老师: 父母用AP回国了，现绿卡批下来，能寄回国吗？

请教8老师：父母等待绿卡期间用AP回国了，现在绿卡批下来。但他们因事没打算近期回来。请问能把绿卡寄回给他们下次入境时用吗？还是一定得在AP到期前回来？没在AP到期前回来绿卡会作废吗？谢谢！
