父母现在62岁，在国内有医疗保险和养老，但是非常想念儿孙，想办绿卡。我的问题是：
（1） 他们拿到绿卡后在美国如何买医疗保险？怎么样的保险比较靠谱？
-I am not familiar with this issue. The principle is that they cannot use the social benefits of US because they did not work in US before (e.g. not work for at least 10 years in US).
（2） 我听有的人说，如果给父母办工卡，他们就可以买医疗保险。他们要怎么样才能办工卡呢？
-Normally the insurance company may ask them to provide the SSN. So, if they want to get the SSN before they get green card, then when they file I-485, they can file I-765 to get the EAD, then use EAD to apply for SSN and use their SSN to apply for health insurance.
是不是一定要在美国找到工作？
-No.
