绿卡,我的朋友(18岁)妈妈是美国公民,今年5月他妈妈帮他申

我的朋友(18岁)妈妈是美国公民,今年5月他妈妈帮他申请到了绿卡.但是他和妈妈的关系现在非常不好,他担心他妈妈会把他的绿卡取消.

请问他已经拿到了绿卡,如果他不想再和他妈妈有任何来往了,他妈妈能做对他绿卡不利的事情吗?以后绿卡还要更换吗?是否还要他妈妈帮忙.申请公民的时候还要他妈妈帮忙吗?
