请问各位老师大侠们，我正给我父亲办理公民入籍，他会英语，绿卡5年，没在美国工作过没领过福利，给他申请公民需要交过去5年的税表吗？

他只是作为我跟老公的dependant出现在我们的税表里。

规则上说离境超过6个月就要交5年税表。他有一次超过6个月因为在国内生病了。
-Just bring it during the interview, just in case.
