我妈妈绿卡拿到不久（大概几个月）就回国，当时因为不打算再来，就没有办AP，现在离境刚刚超过一年（去年五月中吧），因为父亲突然去世，我希望把妈妈带回来。不知道她这种情况要怎么处理，好像AP不能补办，但是那个签证又是说超过两年需要办，那么一年到两年之间怎么办？有没有类似情况经验，万分感谢！
-The green card is void, so she cannot use it to travel to US. She may just abandon the green card at any one of the US Consulates in China, and then apply for B-2 visa at the same time. Then, use the B-2 visa to enter US. If she wants to get the green card again, you can sponsor her as you did before.
