-That is not a good explanation.  You may say something like it is helpful for you to find a good job, and get promotion, etc.

By the way, you also need to write a statement to explain in more details why you joined the Party, when you joined the Party, what activities you have participated in, whether you are still be the Party member at present, etc. The VO may ask you to provide this kind of statement during the visa interview, so you had better prepare it. You may Google to find some sample letters about this issue.
