请问8老师： 去年12月同时递交了EB3 140/485，PD Jun 2013。1月140得到approval, EAD已拿到，但在2月, 公司部份业务卖掉, 被laid off。请问老师： 1、因485 pending 没超过180天，现在怎么做是比较安全保证485顺利approval ？

-As long as USCIS does not send you RFE for your employment status or not make a decision on your I-485 approval, you will be safe.

2、现在有家小公司给了offer, 但不能支持h1b transfer, 希望用EAD，你觉得这样risk大吗？

-If you don't hav a choice, just take it.

3、在485 pending 时，是不是也要在laid off 的60天内，H1b transfer才有效？

-Right.

4、如果485 pending 180天后找到工作，新公司是否只用file AC 21 to port 485, 而无需h1b transfer? 非常感谢！

-H-1 transfer is irrelevant to I-485, but qualification for work only if you do not use EAD.
