男，未婚成年， 有美国公民父母和美国公民兄弟。已经有美国公民兄弟帮其申请移民，在排队中 --- Fourth Preference: Brothers and sisters of adult U.S. citizens, and their spouses and children.

如果改用美国公民父母申请移民 --- First preference: Unmarried, adult sons and daughters of U.S. Citizens, and their children. (Adult means 21 or older) 会快很多。

请问，这样的情况，是否可以改成公民父母申请移民，

- The F4 category cannot be converted to F1 category because the petitioners are different. Of course, the parent can file a new I-130 for the child using F1 category, but the new I-130 (F1 category) cannot use the priority date of the old I-130 (F4 category) because the petitioners are ddifferent.
