Thta is different situation. Your child did not have green card at that time, so the VO consider her to have immigrant intent. You have a grteen card now and you abandon it, so logically you abandon the immigrant intent. Anyway, as far as I know, many people like you get the B-2 visa after they abandoned the green card. Of course, it is case by case, not guarantee that you will get the B-2 visa.
