我妈用B-2签证到美国，三个月后给她申请绿卡， 本人是公民。8月中旬递交材料，收到了挂号信的回执。但自那之后，快6个月了，没有任何别的信息， 支票没有兑钱，也没有什么case number，打指模之类，石沉大海。

这正常吗？要去问吗？怎么问？

-It is very unusual. It seems your materials were lost. Normally, if USCIS received your case applicaiton, they should should have sent you the receipt notice in about 2 to 4 weeks (if accepted), or return the application packet to you with a rejection notice (not accepted).

You need to track with the Post Office or Delivery company to check who signed the packet receipt.
