您好，感谢您无私为网友解答问题，自己学了很多，但有些针对自己的情况仍有些不明白，烦请解答。
主要情况是我2015年2月以J1身份入美（以本省教育资金项目，但资助金额已交回，所有出国手续资料接收单位都是自己联系），2016年4月更换访学单位，2017年10月到期。以自身情况计划通过EB2-NIW申请绿卡。想咨询以下几个问题：
1、目前我的状态可否提交140表（有人说越早越好，有人说有了较长的2019表时间或更换为H1才行）。
-Yes, you can file I-140 now or any time. It is irrelevant to J-1 waiver.
2、申请140表后可否更换访学单位。
-It is fine. I-140 filing should not affect your J-1 transfer because J-1 transfer does not need USCIS approval.
3、国内单位将于2月份办理离职，waiver最好在140之前还是 140之后485之前 办理。
-Up to you. Of course it is the sooner, the better.
waiver办理之后还能否更换访学单位。
-you can do it during the waiver is processing, but you can not do J-1 transfer or extension after the J-1 waiver is approved by DOS.
