Does my husband have to fill out all employment history on the DS-260 form?

-If his employer issued W-2 to him during his employment at that period of time, then he had better tell the truth there. Because he had left US after that, and he will apply for the immigrant visa in China, this employment histry will not affect anything even if he worked illegally.

I mentioned yesterday that he registered a business (while he was on H4) but didn't do any business. Instead he worked about a year and a half (2010-2011) for the company where he was employed before on H4 and we filed tax using the name of his business. Now he doesn't know whether he should fill in this employment history on DS-260 and is concerned that the officier will check his W2 and tax return form. I don't think he had a W2 for those income because he was working on H4.
