您好，前些日子向您请教过关于换工作学校，暑期三个月的身份保持问题。具体是我的现合同于5月31日结束，我的工资和benefit都截止于5月31日，而新学校要到8月21日开始。我已提交485，收到combo card，到5月中旬485pending 大于180天。 此时换工作实在是无奈之举。

根据您的建议，我提前和新学校联系了，要求他们在我的现合同截止前为我提交H1b。先在这里谢谢您，因为事情处理起来似乎比我想象的麻烦。现在新学校建议我用EAD开始工作，理由是我有三个月的gap，他们没有办法向USCIS解释。我知道用EAD是有一定风险的，所以还在尽量说服新学校。请问有没有条文或政策依据来说明这3个月的gap不是问题。能给个链接吗？
