请问老师，我换工作。新公司是咨询公司，但会把我派回以前任职的公司，只是换一个部门, job title 也不一样(我的新旧工作是两个不同领域）。新公司帮我转h1b。我看他们用的还是老工作的 job title 。我不知道新公司为什么不用新工作名，应该不是不知道或搞错了。因为paralegal 在电话中还特意问了我的新工作名称。H1B是可以在不同领域转换工作的，他们也应该知道的。

这样transfer 申请上的工作名称跟实际工作不符，会不会有什么隐患？多谢！

-If the responsibilities of your new H-1B position are significant from the old one, your new H-1B petition can not use the old H-1B position title and responsibilities (i.e. job duties/responsibilities are very important in the H-1B petition, and title difference does not matter that much). So, talk to your employer.lawyer to file an H-1 amendment if necessary.
