The priority date on my husband's I-140 was mistakenly set as his birthdate. This mistake happened when he applied for green card with his former employer. The company lawyer promised to contact USCIS to fix the problem at that time. Later he filed I-140 with the new employer and noticed that the priority date is still his birthdate after the new I-140 is approved. The actual priority date should be December 2012. We haven't heard from our lawer about this situation yet. Any inputs on this are appreciated.

-Ask your employer/attorney to contact USCIS to fix it (e.g. keep calling USCIS for this service request with 2nd level support).
