以前好像听人说，h1b失业后如果不能马上找到工作，又不能去上学，可以转成b1/b2，以争取点时间。请问这样可行吗？ 最多能争取到多少时间呢？ 多谢。

-Yes, but you may only get 6 months for B-2. If you can find a job in a few months, you may not need to change to B-2 if your current H-1 I-94 does not expire yet. After you get the job offer, you can ask the new employer to file H-1 petition for you using premium processing, then you can go to China to apply for the H-1 visa to come back.
