我妈綠卡过期，海关移民官问有何打算? how to answer ?  to stay longer as resident or just come to see son and grandsons? which kind of answer is more safe for entry ?

-Just say "I will live in US permanently and will file I-90 to renew the expired green card after returning/entering US". She can not say she just visits US temproarily because the green card is used for living in US permanently,, not used for border-crossing card.
