You need to ask your new school to file the H-1 transfer before your current job ends unless you will use EAD to work。考古过其他帖子，不打算用EAD开始新工作。新问题是 （1）5月15日485pending180天，5月31日现工作结束。所以想让新学校在5月20日提交H1 transfer，如何？

-Fine or a little earlier.  

或者根本不必考虑485pending的事情，应尽早提交transfer。

-Fine. The date of filing H-1 trasnfer petition does not mean the date you start to work.

另外，（2）是不是只要新学校为我提交了H1transfer，无须等到审批，我都可以合法待在美国？

-Yes, and you can start to work for the new employer after filing if you want to.

（3）我日后还需要离境重新申请入境吗？

-No if the H-1 transfer is filed before you leave current job.
