--You of course need to follow the school policy such as provide your resignation letter, clearance, etc. Check your school employee' handbook which should have the procedure for resignation.
如果告诉了，他们是不是会报告移民局我换工作了？
-The school has the right to inform USCIS, and also can withdraw the I-140 though it does not affect your I-485 if it is pending > 180 days.
这样不就增加我被EVL的概率吗？我怎么见好多人是换了工作移民局也不知道的呢？谢谢8老师指教！
-USCIS will check your employment record/status before they approve your I-485. So, probably they will send you RFE no matter whether your current employer inform USCIS about your leaving or not.
