我父亲去年在美国申请绿卡，今年1月拿到回美证（Advance Parole）并返回中国，回美证有效期至明年1月。他的绿卡在不久前的2月份通过并已寄到。请问他是必须要在绿卡拿到半年之内（也就是今年8月）返回美国，

 

还是可以在中国一直呆到明年1月（也就是回美证有效期内）回美国？

-Technically, it should be fine, but they had  better come back within 6 months after the green card is approved.
