我一个朋友要到UAB做访问学者，想报到之前先到Washington DC呆几天，不知这种入关时Port of entry和学校所在地不同会不会有事? 谢谢!

-No problem. But he needs to put his US resident address in city of the school location (Birmingham, AL) if asked.
