上个月我父母在广州领到了绿卡签证IR5，有效期到明年四月13号。目前他们计划明年三月中旬到美国来。
我朋友推荐了一个很好的游轮，中间要在巴哈马停靠两次。因为巴哈马是个独立国家，不知道在有了IR5签证又没有领到正式绿卡的情况下可不可以去呢？坐游轮算不算出国呢？
-Do you mean they will travel out of US after they enter US using the IR5 visa? If so, of course yes they can. They immigrant visa will be endorsed (i.e. stampped) by the CBP officer at the port of entry when they enter US, and thus this endorsed immigrant visa stamp is equal to the temporary green card (one year term), so they can travel internationally with it before they get the plastic card.
