昨天听一朋友讲，他们还是绿卡的时候就开始给父母办绿卡，等他们入籍以后，据说很快就能把父母的案子转过去，可是据我所知，绿卡身份是不能给父母办绿卡的，不知道这中间有没有什么误解？谢谢8老师！！
-Your understanding is right. Green card holder can not sponsor the parent green card (not qualied to file I-130 for parent as a green card holder). If what your friend said is true, then their parents' green card approval was a mistake, and it is not valid. Thus, the green card will be revoked any time as long as USCIS realize the mistake approval.
