1. 想跟老师您再确认一下，12月绿卡满5年，我要是这个月（10月）材料准备好的话，就可以递交了，是吗？

-Yes.

2. 为父母办绿卡期间，他们可以合法留在美国直到拿到绿卡吗？

-Yes as long as they file -485. Even if they illegally stay before filing I-485, it will not affect their green card application.

3. 如果这期间必须回国，再来的话，如果签证过期，签证会有麻烦吗？还是说，最好留在美国，直到拿到绿卡？

-They have to apply for advance parole (AP) to travel by filing I-131 with I-485, then use the AP to travel after they apply for green card. No more B-2 visa.
