人在美国，我们这几年也就在8月底出国这一次国，而且是只有入境章没有出境章，

-Fine. Also, provide the copy of the entry stamp for your entry before May when the H-1 extension was filed to indicate you were in US. Write a letter to address that you were physically present in US when the H-1 extenstion petition was filed in May and  traveled to Canada in the end of August and returned in the early of September during the H-1 extension petition was pending.
