-Not required by law, but some IO may ask for it.

因为看见论坛上有一些人被要求补交过。如果需要的话，该怎么办呢？

另外，我是另外的一本户口本，上面只有我的名字，我父母的户口本只有我的名字。如果户口本上的地址是一模一样的，这样两本都带过来可以吗，万一被要求？

-If the old 户口本  has your name and your parents' names together, then it is very useful, and your parents may just bring it with them. If USCIS send you RFE to ask for it later, then provide it (you can ask your friend to translate it into English at that time).
