老人绿卡，离美2年，还能回来吗？

两位老人2年前回国了，因为当时打算放弃绿卡，没有申请返美证。现在因为种种原因希望再次回到美国居住，请问他们有哪些 options? 申请探亲签证的话会不会被拒？是否可以重新申请绿卡？
