美国人给父母办移民，可以请其他人担保吗，还是一定要申请人担保？

-You have to be the sponsor even if you don't ahve income, but you can find a joint sponsor if you don't have enugh income. The joint sponsor has to be a US citizen or green card holder.

作为经济担保人，其担保的人若有未处理的医疗费用等会不会carry 到担保人身上？
