请问8老师有关绿卡renewal的问题，谢谢！

我的情况是这样：绿卡已到期，但到期前已申请renewal，已经收到biometrics日期，但是我在biometric完以后，大约两个礼拜后需要去中国。我的问题是：我可否先去中国，然后让我家人把绿卡寄到中国，然后再回来？
