我的OPT在7月20日要结束。我原来以为有60天的Grace Period来换新的学校申请I-20，但从2004年的论坛帖子发现如果Grace Period在OPT开始之前已经用完了(我的OPT在毕业后三个月才开始), OPT结束时就没有grace period。这样的话好像只有5天时间内转新学校。不知道这对不对。
-Not true. Your F-1 grace period begins from the date when your OPT expires. So, you still have time to get the new I-20 from another school. Just get the new I-20 and then, talk to your current school which you graduated about your F-1 transfer. Thus, your F-1 transfer information will be put into SEVIS in time.

 我的immigration records要从原来的学校转到新的学校。如果等待时间长，我可以从新的学校申请pending I-20吗？
-Get the I-20 within 60 days from the date your OPT expires.
