你好！今天我收到了绿卡被批准的通知，正常情况下大约多久才能收到绿卡？我以前的单位着急让我回去上班。在没收到卡之前，可以开始工作吗？
-Yes as long as the employer agree. Normally they need you to show the green card. If so, you may go to the local USCIS Office to see whether you can get the green card stamp on your passport (bring the I-485 approval notice), then show the green card stamp to the employer to work.
