one ear or 2 ear visible?

A friend told me that the photo for green card changed. 2 ears has to be visible. But my notice clearly said that the photo is still for the right side of the face with right ear visible.
Is this a typo? The notice from Last Friday.

1 difference is the size bacomes 2x2 now.
