请教8老师，

4月底我先生的律师递交了H1-B Transfer，大约一周收到notice说他们收到了，就上班了，今天收到我的H4的Form I-797C，为什么我原来3年的H4，现在变成5/11开始一年的H4，我先生的H1-B还没收到，是不是他的也就一年了，这正常吗？有没有可能是律师申请时弄错了？
-Did you file H-4 extension together with your spouse's H-1 transfer? If so, it is very strange because USCIS approved your H-4 so fast (less than one month) and before your spouse H-1 transfer is approved.

But if you filed the H-4 extension before the H-1 transfer filing, then USCIS have to approve your H-4 extension based on your spouse's old H-1 approval notice which may only have the duration of one year left.

Anyway, you can not do anything, and have to extend it again before the new H-4 extension expires.
