我SSN是通过OPT拿的。后来是H1B。现在我通过婚姻拿到绿卡。我需要重新申请SSN吗？
-Yes, you need to update it in the local SSA office. SSM will be the same number, but the system will record you as the permanent resident which has different benefits from non-immigrant.

或需要到SSN管理局办理什么手续吗？
-Bring your ID, the green card and old SSN card.
