小孩已经定了机票，才发现他的AP AND EAD 将在六月底到期。现在申请，已经来不及了，邀三个月处理。小孩将在七月底回美。我们的485已经递上，正在等排期。小孩是加拿大公民并且有效的H-4签证。

是否可以用H-4返美。
-Yes. But the potential problem is that if your I-485 is approved during the child travel, then the child can not use H-4 visa to enter US, and thus it will be a serious problem. So, your child  may go to the local USCIS Office to see whether he/she can get the emergency AP (not hurt to try it). Of course, if your priority date is not current yet, you don't need to worry about this issue.

我们是否现在可以RENEW AP AND EAD. 或等小孩回来再去RENEW.
-Either, but the new AP can not be used to come back for this trip because your kid leaves US before this AP is approved, but can be used for next travel.
