1）EB2 的 I140 由雇主 J 公司 sponsor，所得的 priority date 是2013年3月；
2）接下来在等待排期期间，J 公司把我所在的业务部门拆分出来，并将其另注册为一新的全资子公司－Ja。然后在2014年初，将Ja卖给公司Q.我因此成为公司Q的员工。
基于以上背景，
a） 我的排期下月到current，我是否可以递交485呢？ 原来sponsor的公司是J，而现在的公司是Q。能否递交资料，向移民局解释说明 J －Ja － Q之间的关系，从而得以获得485的批准呢？

b) 如果我跳槽到 一个与Q完全没有关联的 Z 公司，那么 Z 公司在给我办理绿卡时，priority date 会不会要重新来过？

还是priority date 一经批准设立，无论怎样换雇主，这个日期都不变。在这里的风险是什么呢？ 是不是如果 Z公司 sponsor 我的140 被拒，我就变得没有合法身份了，因为原来的140已经作废了？
c) 如果我现在能再回到 J 公司公司工作，就是最初sponsor我140的雇主，是不是下个月（current)马上就可以递交485了？
-Yes, that is for sure. Actually, if your can get the support letter from the J company addressing that they will hire you back to work for the original PERM position after you get the green card, then you can file I-485 even if you do not work for J company at present.
