1. 请问F2（dependent，不是full-time student）转F1（Freshman） 同一所学校，是否要换签证才能在今年秋季注册课程？
-Not need, but you can not attend the school until USCIS approve your F-1 status.

-No. You need to file I-539 to USCIS for change of status from F-2 to F-1 by providing the I-20. After the F-1 status is approved, then you can register the courses. Talk to the school International Student Office, then they will help you.


2.J-1 waiver，需要申请者提交国内单位的证明还是教育处背景调查的时候，由教育处直接拿到原单位证明。
