您好！

1. 请问F2（dependent，不是full-time student）转F1（Freshman） 同一所学校，是否要换签证才能在今年秋季注册课程？
-Not need, but you can not attend the school until USCIS approve your F-1 status.


必须要离境回国签证吗？
-No, but if you leave US, you need to get the F-1 visa to come back.

F2签证已经过期，但是F2 status有效至2017年。

2. 现在是F1，曾有J1经历，未waiver， F1毕业时找工作前要先waiver才可以吗？
-You can work with F-1 OPT after graduation, but you need to get the J-1 waiver if you want to get the H-1 to work or apply for green card in the future.
