我在给我父亲申请移民，


1。已经EMAIL了“无刑事犯罪记录”公证，我又收到REQUEST FOR：

______10 - CHINA - MAINLAND POLICE CERTIFICATE:____________________

China: Generally available, reliable. Persons should apply for a certificate of no criminal

record at the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) (or certain types of employers such as

state owned enterprises), then make application to the notary office for a certificate based

on the PSB document. Persons without a criminal record will be able to obtain a

certificate to that effect.

这两个材料有什么不同吗？
-Same thing. Just send the photocopy of this document again by both email and mail.

2。我母亲已去世，父亲没有再婚，我以为不需要母亲的死亡证明了，所以上次没送此材料，现在有REQUEST FOR：

______6 - MARRIAGE TERMINATION:____________________________________

Applicants who have been previously married must obtain evidence of the termination of EACH prior

marriage. Evidence must be in the form of photocopies of the original documents issued by a competent

authority, or copies of the certified documents bearing the appropriate seal or stamp of the issuing

authority, such as:

- If the marriage ends by divorce, the divorce decree that is submitted must be a FINAL divorce decree

- Death certificate

- Annulment papers

我有医院开的母亲的死亡证明（中文），还需要翻译成英文吗？
-Yes, it must be translated into English.

这个英文翻译需要在国内做公证吗？

如果我自己有能力翻译，自己翻译好，然后拿到美国这边的notary盖章行吗？
-You had better ask a friend to translate it for you, then your friend just goes to the Notary Public (e.g. bank) to notarize his/her signature. Your friend also needs to write a statement addressing that he/she knows both English and Chinese very well, and thus he/she is competent to be the translator,  and the translation is accurate to the original Chinese version. 我20年前在国内做的公证已经无效了吗？
-No problem. Just provide it again by both email and mail.
