1. 如果早了或晚了一天是不是就没戏了？
-No. You can send it between May 1 and 31 even if you lose your job.

May 1 is the final day in my current employment. If USCIS receive my NIW-485 package after May 1, I think my NIW-485 application should be invalid. Am I wrong? why you still think I can file a valid NIW-485 between May 1 and 31 even if I lose your job after May 1.

2. 这样做有没有好处（毕竟多花$1070加体检费)？
-You actually can just do the I-485 interfiling/relink, but because it seems your EB-1A I-140 is still pending (not approved yet), I still support you to file a new I-485 using NIW I-140 as you plan to do in case your EB-1A I-140 is denied and thus USCIS mistakenly also deny your EB-1 I-485. If your EB-1A I-140 has been approved, you don't need to waste your money to file another NIW I-485.
