现在手里有H－1B extension 3年，在排期等I－485名额。这时是否要申请EAD保险些，比如跳槽期间有空挡不上班？我看了I－765的申请说明，里面第五条讲“Employment-based nonimmigrant categories"。我的I－140说明是immigrant petition， 我还能用I－765申请EAD吗？谢谢。
-Have you filed I-485 yet? If no, you are not qualified for EAD application. If yes, you had better apply for EAD in case you may use it. It is free (no fee) for EAD application, anyway.
